This is the only USB Extension cable I've found so far out of 4 attempts that actually WORKS with my Tundra trackers and their Super Wireless Dongle with no issues!

I don't know why it was so hard to actually find an extension cable that does what it says on the tin and actually has the bandwidth it advertises to have, but this one definitely works in the 25' variant. I will be ordering two more so I can put all of my dongles onto these cables so I can stop worrying about my trackers randomly disconnecting while I'm playing in VR!

My only big concern is how flexible the cable is; I don't know for sure how thick the rubber is, but I just have the cable tied up so there isn't much stress on the cable, and so it isn't at a nearly 75 degree angle while plugged into my PC. On the other hand, sure makes cable management easy!

The ultra extra long version (100 ft) is a hub too far. Each repeater node is seen by Windows as a 4 port hub and there is a hard limit of 7 layers that includes the motherboard architecture, connected hubs and the final devices. I wanted to connect a 7 port hub to my computer but the motherboard root hub plus the 4 hubs imbedded within the ultra extra long USB extension cable and the 2 hubs within the attached 7 port hub (really two 4 port hubs daisy chained inside) was just too many levels. I could only use the first 3 ports on my 7 port hub when using it. In fact, of the 10 USB A ports on my computer, only 3 ports worked at all when connected using the ultra extra long extension cable. The other 7 USB A ports would only work with devices directly connected to the cable.

The initial plug plus the 3 in cable repeaters are not just amplifiers but as noted above, are actually imbedded hubs. For shorter cables - 50 ft or less it should not be an issue since that is at most 2 extra hub layers but for longer cables the imbedded hub count is a real problem and this limitation should be noted in the product description. Additionally, the product picture should clearly show the repeater nodes that are located along the length of the cable.

Now I am stuck with a near useless cable. My next step is to get a fiber optic cable that does not use repeaters and should avoid this whole mess.
