This is a great backpack for hiking. I've used it twice so far and hope to get a lot more use out of it. I love all the pockets for trail essentials and the water bladder works really well. My only complaint would be that the buckles for the very front pocket get in the way of accessing the large compartment if you have them sinched. This design is for a helmet but I don't see myself using it in that way so I have it pulled tight to keep the front pocket from jostling around. Also, when the bladder is full it does take up a considerable amount of space in the main pocket so it's a little deceiving how much room you actually have. Other than those minor things, this is a really nice, functional backpack that suits my needs and I'm happy with this purchase.

I was very impressed with the quality of this bag. There are many compartments for storage. Two side mesh holders for drinks, fits sunscreen or bug spray as well.
There is a rain jacket for the bag on the inside bottom of the bag. It is very convenient to pull out and over bag and easy to put away.
So far I have used this bag to hike, go to the beach, kids school field trip, sea glass hunt. It has held up well.
The hydration pack itself is very very hard to dry out. This is the reason for only 4 stars. I have finally managed to get the pack dry but there is still residual water in the straw that won’t dry. My concern is mold and the hydration pack may be a one time use or back to back use.
Overall, love the bag, the straps are padded, it buckled in front which gives a good snug fit for the climbs. The bag itself is lightweight and was not a burden to have on for many hours at a time.

I do not normally write reviews and this hydration pack is not sold as safety gear, I don't recommend relying on it as your only piece of gear, but that was my situation last week when this pack saved my life. I went on a ride through town on my ebike to pick up something from the store and made the poor decision to leave my helmet at home only taking some water and the pack to carry my goods. On the way to the store I was going maybe 20Mph and a car opened their door right in front of my bike and with no time to avoid it I hit the car door, went over it cartwheeling through the air to land and slide on rough pavement landing on my backside. The only area of my body not injured is my back, neck, and head that were cushioned in the fall by the full hydration bladder (which is now permanently distended and leaking but well worth the damage). The pack itself took very little damage, with the rip stop external material really proving its durability, being dragged on the street with my body. I would highly recommend this pack to anyone, though would recommend upgrading the stock bladder to one with a larger mouth. Best pack ever!

This bag is exactly what you would expect in that it was small, but could hold quite a few ski accessories like goggles and gloves and snacks, and also was great build quality! The water bladder took a couple of hits from me falling and stayed full of water with no explosions, the zippers all stayed closed... but the snacks were squished. Overall great product and fantastic quality!
