I'm pretty impressed by this mount! I was skeptical of the price at first, especially when compared to similar mounts at Best Buy. It's very sturdy, easy to put together & install. Holds our new 60" TV without any problem. Swivel feature and range of motion is great, just requires a little pre-planning to get the movement right, especially if you are mounting it in a corner like I did.
A few cons... it's heavy, you will need 2 people to install it, best if atleast one has some muscle! You will also need to be sure it's anchored into the studs or some sort of solid surface wall. We have a log cabin, so I mounted it directly to the logs & it's no problem, but in a normal construction home you would have to be sure it's anchored well because of it's weight. Also, the bracket that mounts to the TV itself covers part of the area where you plug in accessories, so you have to some adjusting & creative thinking to get all the cords plugged in to the input ports.
All in all, these aren't really huge cons, just something to be aware of. For the quality of the mount, it's a super good deal.

Great mount but don't trust the attached level

I purchased this mount to wall mount a 55" Vizio HDTV. The mount is very well made and feels completely solid. Attaching it to the wall can be done with one person, but I wouldn't recommend it. As it was, I had a bit of help from my wife for marking the location for the lag screws as well as starting the lab screws while I held the mount up. Once the screws are started, it is easy enough to let the mount hang while the screws are tightened. The instructions indicate that the mount must be installed into two studs... more on that later. Once installed, it feels rock solid, and I am able to rotate the 55" TV to be perpendicular to the wall in either direction. Moving the TV is not super simple, but with a little practice, it seems like it won't be too much of a hassle. As others have reported, pushing the TV back against the wall takes some guiding of the articulated arm so that it folds properly. I find that this manipulation does not take long and is therefore not a problem, even though we swivel the TV pretty often (that said, the TV has been mounted for less than a week). I have noticed no sag whatsoever in the arm even when the TV is fully extended away from the wall. Of course, the mount is rated for over 200 pounds, and the TV is only 35 pounds, so ymmv.
I installed a wall box for the outlet and cables which I ran through the wall. This required that I put some washers between the mount and the wall to allow space for the wall box, but was not difficult to do. The hole in the middle of the mount allowed plenty of space to run the cables and access the plugs for power and ethernet that are in the wall box. I ziptied the cables and power cord to the top and bottom of the wall side arm and used rubber bands to take up the slack when the arms are fully folded so that the cables don't hang below the TV, but are also able to fully extend without putting strain on the cables.
A couple of points to note:
1) I read several reviews that said the included lag screws broke on installation, and the screws included with the mount felt lightweight and cheap, so I went ahead and bought some lag screws from Home Depot for $4 so I could be confident that they would not break. For such a low price, it seemed like easy insurance against having a screw break.
2) The little level that is part of the mount seemed like a great idea... until I had mounted the TV and realized that it was not, in fact, level, despite the bubble being perfectly centered between the two lines. My bad for trusting the included level, but also a little disappointing. Obviously this can be avoided by double checking with an accurate level.

Overall I am happy with the mount and would certainly recommend it. For the price it does everything I want it to (especially the full swivel) and was about half the price of comparable fully articulating mounts I had researched.

Built Like A Truck Frame!

Purchased this mount from Amazon, for a Samsung 55" Ultra-HD TV. I needed to be able to fully extend the arm and turn the screen 90 degrees, for certain events. With the weight capacity at 175lbs., and the screen only weighing <45lbs, I was comfortable with fully extending the arm. This thing didn't disappoint. The arm is solid, without any wiggle or wobble. The movement is smooth and easy to move. And, when I fully extend the arm and turn the screen nearly 90 degrees, the screen is still level. I am seriously impressed. The instructions weren't real detailed, but assembly was logical and easy. They also gave me all the hardware needed to do the installation right. I did opt for some 3-inch lag bolts and heavier washers that I provided, but that's just me playing it safe, to the point of very serious overkill. If you're on the fence about a strong bracket with extension and rotation (on the y-axis) capabilities, buy this one. It will not disappoint!

Installation is not difficult, but here are my tips. The instructions are to install the monitor brackets to the TV first. Follow this step and note the centerline of the tilt hinge pins to help determine where to install the mounting bracket. (I did not and needed to move my mounting bracket). The mounting bracket consists of a wall bracket, articulating arm, and a TV bracket. I removed the wall bracket from the articulating arm which made installation to the wall easier. Re-installing the arm to the wall bracket may require two and the arm will need to be juggled to get the bracket pin lined up with the hinges. You will want to level the wall bracket, but there is also level adjustments on the TV bracket which is not mentioned in the manufacturer instructions. I happened to notice this because the wall bracket was level and the TV bracket obviously was not. There are 4 bolts attaching the TV bracket to the articulating arm that I used for adjusting level.

I had a TV that was in a corner, taking up more space than it needed, but was there so anyone in the room could see it. We mounted the TV on the wall across from the couch. This is where most people would sit and watch, but if we had company over that used the love seat, we could pull it off the wall and angle it towards the middle of the room so it could be seen by all. The mount is extremely sturdy (if done properly). The instructions aren't the best, but are easy to follow if you have any sort of experience mounting things to the wall (shelves, pictures, etc.).

PROS: The mount is very solid and sturdy. As this of paramount importance for any large TV mount, it is why I gave this product 4 stars. The arm extension is also very long (at least 24" from the wall), which enables a variety of TV locations (flat against the wall, or in a corner). The price was very fair for a sturdy mount.

CONS: None are deal-breakers, but they do detract from the product.
1. The wall plate is about 19" wide, with the farthest holes apart being 16" wide (for 16" stud placement). This restricts the location of the mount placement (you can't "center" the mount on your wall, you are stuck placing it exactly between the studs. This could easily be mitigated if the wall plate was longer). You can center the TV over the mounting plate (much wider than the wall plate), but it would be simpler if the wall plate was larger.
2. The mounting arm is pretty stiff. It takes a lot of force to move the arm- though this may loosen up in time.
3. The instructions are great for INSTALLING the mount, but not for actually using it. It doesn't describe the tilt function, or how to route the TV cables through the mount.
4. The hardware provided with the mount is pretty comprehensive, but still didn't have the bolts necessary for my TV. I have a flat Samsung KU6300 that requires 1" long M8 bolts to mount on the brackets. The kit comes with M8 bolts that are too short (5/8 or 3/4 inch M8), or else too long (2" M8 - for use with curved TVs). There are also many other smaller diameter bolts included, presumably for smaller TVs. The actual mount installation hardware was fine - the screws for mounting the wall plate are huge.
5. It might just be my TV, but the location of the cable connections are obscured by the mounting plate. This makes connecting HDMI or other cables very tiresome - either fiddling behind the mounting plate, or else loosen the bottom screws holding the TV brackets to the mounting plate so that the TV can slide to the side. Other TVs with different cable port locations likely won't have this issue.

Very spartan mount that gets the job done. Very beefy construction. Pro-tip: grab a piece of cardboard and trace the hole pattern onto it. Holding up all that and making drill marks kinda sucks if you're alone. Wish I did this. Originally gave this three stars but added one given the low price.

+ All mounting hardware for concrete and studs is provided. Rock solid once it's in. Make sure you have a socket set for concrete.

+ compatible with nearly any mounting pattern. Great for future proofing. Don't throw away the extra screws the mount came with, you might need them.

+The rail-style mounts in the back are great for panning your tv up or down. Will make it easy to work with if you end up replacing your tv but keeping the mount.

+There are 4 bolts that will allow you to rotate the mount slightly. Helps if you forgot to use a level when drilling. (not that I forgot) or just making micro adjustments. It won't let you flip the tv 90 degrees but if you try this with this mount your tv will end up on the floor.

- no fancy cable management. You can use the holes in the backplate with some zip ties and it will be fine if you are putting it into a corner. Not so pretty if you are using the mount while extended and parts of the back are visible.

+/-Hinges are stiff. This mount is more intended to help you get the TV into a certain position and keep it there rather than making frequent adjustments. Could be good or bad depending on your application.

-The safety screws that lock the vertical rails to the horizontal rails leave something to be desired. Be careful when installing, the tv can slide left/right and fall right off.

-There are two "vice" style clamps that are used used to tilt the tv up and down. These are a complete pain in the ass and are easier to install using a screwdriver, yet the tightening thingy gets in the way. Again, not big deal unless you are constantly moving your tv.
