The KA76 kickstand is a unique patented design that features a hidden adjustable latch. The spring-loaded latch lifts up, allowing the foot to smoothly glide along the kickstand and lock into place when the latch is closed. A steel hexagonal bolt prevents the foot from sliding off completely and deters vandals.

Installation Instruction


Two ways of installation a. Locate your chain stays as shown in the photo. b. Check if you have mounting plate(flat plate with hole for screws) between your chain stay. If you do, go to the 1st right image. If you don't, go to the 2nd right image.	Bicycle with mounting plate (Use short bolt) 1. Remove the screws, washer and metal bracket off the top of the kickstand. 2. Place the kickstand underneath the plate, adjust height by pushing lever. (To further lock into place. using Allen key to tighten the flat bolt underneath the latch.) 3. Place the bolt in hole to match with the kickstand and tighten by an Allen key or wrench.	Bicycle without mounting plate (Use long bolt) 1. Remove screws, washer and metal bracket. 2. Place the kickstand between the chain stays. 3. Place the metal bracket on top of the chain stays. 4. Tighten the kickstand by tighten the bolt and washer with a wrench.

The KA76 kickstand is a unique patented design that features a hidden adjustability latch. Made of aluminum alloy, the kickstand is designed to fit most lightweight, midweight and cruiser bicycles 24" to 29" and easily installs with a bottom bracket mount that fits on a bike's chain stay neck. Riders can adjust their bikes to rest at any angle, which is great for balancing bikes in places where the ground is uneven. It is available in ED black or V-Polished silver.

The reinforced plastic foot has a non-slip sole to prevent slipping on wet surfaces and sinking in mud.

My bicycle had the standard metal kickstand and the screw was starting to get rusty and the kickstand was not the nicest to move. This kickstand however folds much easier and looks better. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get a new kickstand or even to parents looking to get a bike for their kid. They will find it easier to use this kickstand than the standard one for sure. Only other one I would recommend for children' bikes especially would be the double legged kickstand. It might be a little nicer but it will definitely help keep the bike lasting longer if they remember to use it.

It looks nice; It's a simple kickstand that I got to replace after my idiot friend broke the one that came with my bike. It's been about a year since it was installed and it hasn't failed - but it's not very high quality. It slowly but surely loosens over time until it rattles and every time I put it up or down it has a loud bang as the metal jerks suddenly. I've lubricated it, tightened it, and tried several fixes but nothing stops the sound completely. The leg of the kickstand itself also slowly moves outwards until you have to reposition it to get the bike upright again. I will be replacing it with a new one soon.

Es una excelente para de cabra para la bicicleta, me sirve mucho, y con su función de ser ajustable se adapta perfectamente a mis necesidades. El único detalle es que queda cerda del pedal cuando está recogida, y a veces cuando me pasó le doy con el pié al darle a atrás al pedal para ajustar la posición de los mismos.

A veces me gustaría haberlo adquirido para ponerlo en la llanta trasera, pero por desgracia no encontré uno similar a éste pero para la llanta trasera acá en México.

En cuanto a la instalación quité una estrella, por que tuve que comprar un tornillo más largo para que agarrara los tubos en mi bicicleta de montaña, el tornillo de ajuste que trae inicialmente es muy corto, pero encontrar el adecuado es fácil en la ferretería, otro detalle que tiene en la instalación y es por lo que quité la segunda estrella en la parte de instalación, es que al ponerlo es bastante agresivo con la pintura y el metal, pela el metal al estarlo apretando, ralla la pintura y llega a rayar incluso el aluminio. De ahí en más no le veo muchos detalles más en la instalación.

Por lo demás me ha servido bastante y se ve reforzado, perfecto para que dure unos cuantos años, y a pesar de que tengo ya tiempo usándola en la montaña, no se ha aflojado ni vibra, y el plástico de la punta de la pata ha durado, así que se nota la calidad del producto hecha para durar unos cuantos años, así que no le veo prácticamente ningún contra.

En resumen, vale la pena la compra y sirve bastante, claro, si no tienes problemas con el peso como yo, pero si eres un fanático del peso, normalmente dejan su bicicleta extra cara tirada en el suelo para ahorrar esos gramos, pero en mi caso no veo ningún problema.

I recently bought a brand new bike, a Del Sol LXi Flow 2, that did not come with a kickstand. My bike is Charcoal Grey and has a lot of Chrome/Silver and I did not want a Black kickstand. Bei unserer Tochter ist an ihrem 28" Rad der Original Ständer abgebrochen. Da die Reifen einen großen Durchmesser haben war es nicht ganz einfach einen Ständer zu finden der eine ausreichend Länge hat. Dieser Ständer bietet hier sogar noch Reserve und lässt sich zudem noch super einfach einstellen. Auch die unterschiedlichen Montagemöglichkeiten mit den beiden Schrauben und der Platte sind hilfreich, auch wenn wir sie nicht benötigt haben. Bisher hat er gut gehalten, aber nach kurzer Einsatzdauer ist das nicht wirklich anders zu erwarten. Er macht einen stabilen Eindruck und ist dennoch nicht zu schwer. Im Vergleich zu anderen Modellen scheint er ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis zu haben. Daher würde ich diesen Ständer empfehlen.
