I can't believe the customer service! They are awesome!I installed this filter, which worked great, on my 70-200 Sony lens mainly to protect it while in use and transport. It did just that. I don't know how, but my lens obviously hit the floor and bent the ring on this filter, locking it into my Sony lens and shattering the filter. With some force, and mutilating the filter ring, I got it back out of my Sony lens.I proceeded to contact the factory to ask about their warranty. I was told abuse like this wasn't covered (as I expected), but I was rather disappointed because my $44 filter was broken. I figured I would get a really cheap one to replace this one, because who knows when it will happen again.Kathy from the factory continued in her e-mail to tell me that this one time they will send me out a new filter, and a postage paid return label to return the broken filter. THAT WAS AMAZING!!!! I told Kathy it was clearly because of abuse, and didn't want to take advantage of he generous offer, but didn't tell her that until the NEXT DAY. She responded back saying, they already set out the replacement filter YESTERDAY and I should be getting it shortly. WOW!!!!!Great product, and even better customer service! That was great to see, and receive, especially when it seems like this is getting to be so rare.Thanks Breatkthrough Photography, you now have a lifelong customer!Also, don't be afraid to go directly to their website to order, they ship for free and same day too! (Just a hint until Amazon pulls this part down)

Everything about this filter seems very well thought out and screams quality. I don't see any negative effects from using this filter compared to going naked on my Sony 24-70GM lens. The packaging is well thought out and even has the non residue leaving kind of stickers on the case reminding you to activate their 25 year warranty. Yes, 25 years! I have never broken a filter, and don't plan on starting now, but it's nice to know that should things go sideways, Graham and his company are standing by their product. I love the ribs along the outside, it makes it incredible easy to loosen or tighten without worrying about a wrench. I'm going to jump to square filters shortly and Breakthrough will be at the top of my list. Great price and better performance. Thank you Breakthrough!

I usually don't use protective filters, but decided to give it another go. I was proven once I again why not to use them. While this filter has great build quality, it creates ghosts when pointed at bright light source in the frame as can be seen in the photos I attached one with the filter and one without. I will probably keep using it, but only when in field and prefer an extra bit of protection at the account of image quality
