I needed something very basic to mount an old Dell 18.1" 1800FP (2003-era!) LCD screen on an exposed stud in one of our storage rooms.
Reviews for this one were pretty decent, so I pulled the trigger and a few days later, the arm arrived. (Thank you, Prime!)
The arm comes packaged as two pieces -- the arm itself and the mounting bracket. Additionally, there is a bag of mounting hardware that includes drywall screws, anchors, small washers and a small level. More or less, everything that would be required for a "typical" installation. No extra trip to Home Depot required! (Hopefully!)
From a tools standpoint, all I needed was a philips screwdriver and a drill. For installations on drywall, you may need a few extra things like a studfinder or hammer to tap in the anchors if you're not mounting to a stud.
Installation was very easy and the sturdiness is very good. As I stated above, I affixed the arm directly to a stud with the two included screws -- it is not going anywhere. The screen itself is affixed to the bracket with four included screws + washers, so there is more or less no chance of it falling off.
I can't recommend this one enough. The bang:buck ratio is extremely high!
