I've been wanting to try a sandwich maker for awhile and thought to give this one a try.

Super easy to set up, just plug it in and it is ready to go! I tend to use bread thats a bit bigger but it works just fine. Just keep an eye on it and get it to the crisp that you enjoy on a sandwich!

I really enjoy that it does give it a little "pocket" type area. So I tend to put diced pickles/tomatoes/etc in my cheese sandwiches to make them a little different.

Overall, it is great and easy to use. My only request would be maybe a little alarm sound or such if you happen to leave it on. I tend to get distracted and forget that I have it on. Other than that, it is perfect!

Grilled cheese sandwiches have replaced my pizza habit, so this item earned back it's value. Don't smash frozen waffles down into it because the inner frame will Crack. Place the waffle in it hot for a minute to let it soften up before slowly closing all the way.

I ordered this product for my mom for her birthday to replace the old one that she used to have (it was well over 20 years old and finally bit the dust). I chose this brand as it was one that I recognized and we have used this brand before. Overall it works much as you'd expect. It is a bit difficult to clean with all the different ridges but that too is to be expected so not a big deal. The issue we seem to be having is that it will "leak" any kind of grease or liquid from the underside and makes a bit of a mess and makes it that much more difficult to clean. For instance, my mom lives using it to make pizza pockets and without fail, everytime, there is always a greasy leakage from the sauce or cheese that drips out from the bottom. We've experimented with the amount of ingredients, like decreasing the amount of sauce, to no avail.

I would recommend this product so long as you don't mind putting in a bit more effort to clean it following its use.
