I purchased this through Amazon with Prime delivery and had it in my hands 2 days later.
The tuner works great! It is a regular “clip-on” style tuner, but I’ve never used/seen one that is magnetic! The Tuner securely fastens magnetically to the clip-on base. The base has a 2 inch bar and can be moved in all directions, with a metal ball on top which the tuner sits on, and also allows movement in nearly every direction. The back of the tuner is magnetic, so in theory you could remove the tuner and leave the clip attached to your instrument, and stick the tuner body onto a metal part of your guitar amp, or a beer fridge in your jam-room (LOL) etc.. The tuner is very bright and easy to read, too. The tuner has built in options for Violin, Guitar, Bass etc as well as chromatic tuning.
This also features a built in metronome that would come in handy for students to practice and keep time, but there is no headphone out, so it would limit you to low volume/acoustic to “hear” the metronome, although you could still see the visuals which could keep you in time at louder volumes. It seems pretty comprehensive as you can change tempo, beat-count, and even select different note combinations (triplets, dotted 8th notes, etc)
The tone-generator is simple and effective… it generates a tone that equals an E (not sure if can change the note?) which a musician can tune their instrument with.
Really, the ONLY thing I didn’t like was the instructions that came with the device were so small I needed a magnifying glass to read, so I didn’t bother, and almost wrote a bad review because the tuner has multiple modes, and defaults to tuning a VIOLIN, which didn’t work very well with my acoustic or electric guitar… but after I broke out the magnifying glass and read the instructions, I was able to switch to “chromatic” tuning and it worked perfectly with my electric guitar and my acoustic as well.
Bottom line, I would certainly recommend this to beginners and advanced musicians alike.

Great backlight work well with guitar ukulele or violin
Clamps on very well, very straight forward and easy to use . Easily change from guitar to ukulele or violin as well other tuning options. Nice backlight and whole tuner glows green when tuned making it easy to read for all ages.

When light is white you are out of tune, simply go by the increments to go up or down, once you are tuned it turns bright green, perfect for o n stage tuning!
The Grip for the Head stock is harder than most to determine proper contact with instrument.

The unit itself is very bright and clear... which i find to be a big advantage both in direct sunlight and dimly lit stage, no squinting to see the screen clearly. I've only used it on my guitars but the tuner seems to be very accurate compared to and on par with my onboard tuners on my amp and on two built into 2 guitars.
It comes with a rechargeable battery... no more searching for or buying those watch batteries again. Comes with a usb cord to maintain the battery. It hardly uses any power..haven't had to recharge it since I've started using it. It also has an auto off if you forget to shut it off.
It is quite customizable, adjustable calibration from 430 to 450 Hz and has a metronome adjustable up to 250 BPM and 8 rhythms . It packs a lot of features into a small package.
All in all, you can't really go wrong with this tuner. Affordable, bright and clear display, infinitely adjustable viewing, no more batteries to buy.
