The Original Fast Racking Auto-Siphon with NSF-51 Food Grade Tubing

In 1987, we invented the fast racking auto-siphon. Racking was never the same. The tip on the racking cane is slightly larger than normal, which filters out a lot of the sediment during transfer.

We included NSF-51 Certified Tubing Clear Tubing with these kits. Our kink free tubing is PVC free, non toxic and safe to use for food and beverages. It is a multipurpose flexible tubing that pairs well with our siphons.

Important: Temperature maximum: 120˚F or 49˚C

  • Single stroke action draws a siphon without disturbing sediment.
  • Precision designed for smooth, leak-free operation.
  • Prevents introduction of air at the seal.

    Okay for the price
    I have mixed feelings about this siphon. Let's start with the good.PROS- It's cheap, fairly easy to use, and it does siphon 1 gallon carboys without much issue.CONS- The hose arrived folded over itself, and after several uses and cleanings using both hot water and a steamer, I still can't get the kinks out of the hose. This means if it bends the wrong way, it will kink mind-siphon. Also, the valve is not water-tight...if you lift it out of the carboy to put it in another carboy or the sink, it's gonna leak everywhere if there is any residual liquid in it. Finally, even if the whole thing is submerged, it still somehow has air bubbles being siphoned, like when you drink out of a cracked straw...I can't explain it.Final Thoughts- it works and it's a good price, but if you're more than an amateur brewer (which is all I am), you may want to look into a higher quality siphon.
