Possibly brilliant M4/3 budget portrait lens

Possibly brilliant M4/3 budget portrait lens
Mine shipped quickly and in great condition from seller Blue Penn. Using it on an older Micro 4/3 Panasonic with an inexpensive M42 to M4/3 adapter. The crop factor on Micro 4/3 makes it behave as a 110mm f3.8. It’s pretty sharp wide open and gives photos an almost 3d effect. I did some very unscientific testing and found that the minimum focusing distance was about 16” (41 cm) with my setup. Color rendition is lovely to my eyes. It’s hefty and well-built but I wish the focus ring was more precise (probably okay when used on full-frame as a 55mm).

I've received the lens today, and it's been more than a month late. However, the lens is in good condition despite no front and back caps, and securely packed. Still need to try the lens this weekend and see how it works. Hence, 3 stars.

A lovely manual lens. I don't spend my time comparing technical details or the shape of bokeh, so I can't provide any input on that. It's smooth in operation and has its own characteristic look, which I personally like a lot.
