Product Description

Solid hardwood case in warm walnut finish surrounds raised gold-tone bezel and protective glass lens. Traditional two-tone metal dial features Arabic numerals and filigreed accents. NEW, Bulova’s Harmonic II PLUS quartz chiming movement plays a total of 20 separate songs each on the hour. Select the classic Westminster chime with separate strike feature that counts each hour OR 12 traditional songs that play progressively at each hour. These songs are Turkish March, Amazing Grace, La Traviata, Green Sleeves, The Four Season Spring, Blue Waltz, My Grandfather’s Clock, Salut d’Amour, Beautiful Dreamer, Bach Prelude, Home Sweet Home and Nocturne OP9. During the holiday season, adjust the switch and the following favorites will play progressively one each hour: Jingle Bells, Silent Night, Joy to the World, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, We Wish you a Merry Christmas and Deck the Halls. Adjustable volume control and automatic night shutoff. Finally, if just the sound of a two note strike counting each passing hour is what you prefer then that can be chosen as well. This clock allows you to choose automatic night silence from 11pm to 7am. Also, the clock can be completely silenced or set to play a full 24 hours. Volume control is adjustable as well. Quartz movement. Requires (2) C batteries, not included.

1. What I did not like about this clock was the fact I had to disassemble it and push the hour hand in place so it was pointing at the hour when it chimed. I might expect that out of a $20.00 clock made in China. When I paid over a $100.00 for a clock made in China I expect better! COME ON BULOVA!! :-( Sometimes I call things NEW JUNK. (D-) This is my grade for that.
2. I do not like doing business with and supporting communist countries who are also atheistic! (F)
What I did like about the clock.
1. Good sounding loud (adjustable) chimes probably the best chimes I have ever heard. (A+)
2. I can read that clock without my binoculars lol at over 50 feet. I live in a ranch style house with an open floor plan where the living room, kitchen and dining room are all open. The clock is on my fire place and you can be more than 50ft. away from it. I am coming up 70 years old and my eyes are pretty good but not as good as they were 40 years ago yet I can easily read the clock. (A)
3. Keeps good time. (A+) Although I wish it had been a self setting atomic clock.
4. We will set it for Christmas songs when in season. To honor our savior Jesus the Nazarene. The music this clock makes is beautiful. (A+)
