Allowed us to make the most of our 2024 solar eclipse experience. Would recommend for first timers.

I will be in Uvalde for the eclipse, and I went into this purchase knowing that I was buying the hardcover version primarily as a commemorative keepsake. I think it serves that purpose well, as it has a nicely designed cover that feels to be of good quality. The book itself is a little light on information and is not going to have everything that everyone is looking for. I did find some of the photography tips helpful, as I am new to photographing eclipses. All that said, if you are looking for more detailed information on any eclipse-related topic, from weather to photography, there is a wealth of it on the internet.

A great addition for my trip to Texas for the eclipse 2024

The book gave useful information to enjoy Texas and the eclipse. It was read and referenced many times before April 8th.

Not quite useless, but getting there. No real detailed maps, no mention of average weather for the time period across the state. I guess it is supposed to be some collectors edition, so there's not much "meat" in it. Considering returning it.

Although this book has some interesting tips for traveling to see the eclipse, it is limited on providing a detailed map view of where to go to experience it. I would up buying the US Road Atlas
