I purchased this Bose radio/CD player used from Amazon. Amazon should no longer do business with this seller. I understand that I should have returned it immediately and I did not. My fault. This radio/CD player has never worked properly. Sometimes it plays when you turn it on, sometimes it waits until you push play, sometimes it doesn't play at all. It is not the one that was advertised (which was gray - this one is black, but I didn't care about the color). Since I have another almost identical Bose radio/CD player, (purchased new) I am able to state that the sound quality is not comparable and not what it should be. I regret this purchase and advise prospective buyers to be wary. I repeat, Amazon should not do business with this seller.

The sound is exceptional, which is the reason I bought the unit. I can hear notes on my CDs that I have never heard on my cheaper systems. Compared to the price of other used Bose Wave audio systems, the price was very good. I had a problem once whereby the CDs appeared to not be spinning, but that problem has gone away. The picture on the web site showed a user manual and an FM antenna, which were not included, but I don't really need them. The FM reception is fine, and the operation of the unit is self-explanatory.
