Quality is unmatched
I buy these beads for the custom products I make on my etsy shop and literally other brands don't compare. I've tried 3 brands and you can see in the picture the results. Others (the two on the left) are waxy and simply don't melt but this brand (the results on the right) melts easy and blends together making a really clean finished look without holes or gaps or shiny wax look

My only negative on this set, and it wasn't enough to remove a star, was that the melting point of this set is different from some of the other mini sets I've gotten from other brands. For some reason this set doesn't include a dark brown. Not a problem, I grabbed the chocolate from a different set when my daughter wanted to make a donut. But as you can see in the images, the other set melted a lot faster than this one, hence the scream faces on one side of her donut, where the chocolate melted faster and flatter than all the colors from this set. Lessons learned. Don't mix brands. It's a shame, though, as dark brown is a very commonly necessary color (trees, chocolate, dark fur, etc) and it's not included here. All the variety of pastels kind of makes up for it, but it would have been nice if we had the ability to supplement the colors that weren't in this set from our stash....
Great color selection, but not universally compatible with other brands

There's a lot to love about this set. The selection of colors is exceptional. The storage boxes are exceptional. The needed boards are included in both round and square varieties, and the size is compatible with other brand mini-boards if you want other shapes like hex. They even threw in extra bags of black and white, the colors that get used the most, and multiple sets of tweezers for crafting with friends.Reviewed in the United States on April 15, 2024

Beautiful colors, not good for younger children

Beautiful array of colors. I missed the "mini" part in the description, so these will not be a gift for my younger grandchildren. The little fuse beads are tiny and will most likely end up all over the floor and just frustrate the younger children. This kit would be a cool gift for a tween or young teenager, that loves patterns and designing. Even an adult may like this as a gift. I am keeping this one for myself and will try designing some mandala patterns. It comes with several plates, so let your imagination go! Good price for the value.
