Very easy to setup. I screwed on the antenna, plugged in the hdmi and power cables, turned everything on and it just worked. It was that easy. I was shocked at how simple it was to hook everything up, and at how good the picture and the sound quality was on the receiving TV. The two TVs that I'm using are located in different rooms. They are separated by a thick plaster wall inside of a prewar building; and the transmitter and receiver can't see each other. As I said earlier the picture and sound quality are great. I would definitely recommend, especially when WIFI is not an option for you, this equipment works great and no WIFI required.

I had previously installed a 5ghz system to stream security camera video to a second room and found that trying to operate two 5ghz systems (to stream to a third room) in the same building was possible but highly tedious. This was the perfect solution for replacing a through-the-wall hdmi cable that was no longer working. Otherwise we would have had to tear out part of the wall and ceiling from our receiver to projector. We bought two options, one without the antenna and this one. Bought this nifty little setup to run send a camera NVR system to an LCD TV about 50 ft away in a different room. Wiring HDMI would've been nearly impossible because of very high 30 ft ceilings and block walls. Painless setup, up an running streaming the cameras in about 5 minutes. I'm unsure (read: don't care) if it drops frames, but it was perfect for my application. Includes an iR blaster, too. Bonus! Very happy with it!

Bought in January 2021. Within a year it bagan having "down" episodes, but always comes back. Sometimes it only need unplugging, somethimes it needs disconnnecting for long periods, sometimes it comes back on it's own ... this is not a recption issue. I decided to order a second one since the episodes frequency is increasing. Price has gone from $140 to $230. Mark Campassi / Hamilton AL - I have never used the remote control.

Easily connect any device with an HDMI port to a screen via these wireless HDMI boxes. Connect a device in another part of the house to a tv in a bed room or office. These boxes are made of mostly plastic polymer/ABS. I’ll post a video when I’ve connected these up to something here in the home. As far as the construction of this unit I’d give it a 3 in quality.
