I originally bought an overpriced monitor that used WiFi and showed the screen on your phone, however it always had bad connection, camera quality was poor. I was disappointed. But this camera does exactly what it needs to do! Both camera and monitor screen are plug in so no batteries required, visual quality is amazing! Adjustable volume that gets very loud go deep sleepers, the camera can zoom and scan around a small area and it automatically goes into night mode when the lights are off. You can also set feeding timers & connect multiple cameras. As a first time mom this calms all my nerves!

Love the adjustable level of sensitivity. It’s sound detecting. Offers great range with the monitor.
The clarity at night is awesome (black and white), during the day is great as well. Very well configured for colored spaces.
Battery lasts for about 10 hours. It charges pretty quick. Like the eco mode on the monitor and turns back on when there’s sound detected.

The look wise it’s very sleek and modern looking. Overall a great product.

EDIT: It is December 29th, we purchased this in March and now it is officially dead. It won't turn on. We were so spoiled with our Angelcare monitor, when it died we thought we'd just get something cheaper and hope that it would get us through until the napping stage was over and our daughter was in a big girl bed. We made the wrong choice. Also, we really didn't like that it didn't have a two-way microphone so we could talk to her, as I'm looking on here I'm seeing tons of monitors at the same price point and they all have it, along with other features, so why doesn't this one? Whatever. Definitely staying away from this brand though!

So when our really amazing Angelcare monitor died, we needed a replacement, but our daughter is three and we didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on something that we, hopefully, wouldn't be using that much longer. So I got online and I *thought* I was getting a decent one for the price. I was wrong. My biggest issue is that when it goes from daytime to dusk, the monitor goes completely black, for HOURS. You can hear her but that's it. Just blackness. Same thing at sunrise. Blackness. It can't handle the change in lighting. So if you have a child that naps, or sleeps through sunrise or sunset then look elsewhere. In the winter where I live it gets dark as early as 4pm and the sun rises in the summer at 5am. So if you have these problems please don't buy this or you'll be staring at blackness trying to figure out what the heck happened like we were. And, in all honesty, the picture quality is crap anyway but like I said, we didn't need anything special but this was just horrible. So horrible.

I’ve had it for about a month, and do love the simplicity of this camera. It’s nice that it isn’t connected to WiFi, and I like the idea that I can connect multiple cameras to one parent unit. I haven’t used Eco mode personally, but my husband said it took a lot for it to actually detect the baby fussing and crying. At one point he could hear her crying upstairs from downstairs before the monitor turned on. I also don’t use the timers, but accidentally tuned it on once and the beeping seems like it would be great for that purpose! I will say, it tends to glitch and freeze fairly often. The monitor will either go black, or will get black and white lines and squares all over the screen and the audio will go out. It usually returns after a few seconds, but still is frustrating at times. It has also started disconnecting randomly but usually reconnects quickly. The furthest away I am is downstairs which is maybe 30 feet away through the floor. Even on the lowest setting the screen is bright at night when I’m sleeping so I usually put it face down on my nightstand. But for the price it seems to do the job fairly well otherwise.

Needed a replacement for my original ($300+) monitor that first the video went, then the sound. Couldn’t justify spending the $$ to replace with the original since my kids are now toddlers and sleeping through the night. Bought this on a whim and I am beyond impressed with the quality- picture is clear, I set up both cameras and screen without reading the directions- very easy to use. These do not use Wi-Fi which was important to us because our Wi-Fi is spotty. Range so far seems fine, haven’t tested the limits beyond inside the house.
Comes with hardware to mount the cameras and I was able to do it in 5 minutes with a screwdriver.
The only thing this monitor doesn’t have that out pricey one did was ability to speak to the kids through the monitor but it’s not a necessary feature at this point.
Highly recommend for a budget friendly monitor.
