Purchased this scale to replace another digital scale also purchased through Amazon. The previous scale was much lighter and smaller. While it served us well when it lasted, having purchased this "Back" scale, I find this new scale is much better in terms of its more solid feel, the easier to use touch-sensor power, zeroing, and weight buttons, and, of course, its ability to weigh up to 22 pounds. Its surface area is also much larger allowing me to weigh dry spaghetti without having to place it in a plate or bowl, although the latter is now easier if I wanted to do so for larger portions.

The lighted display is easier to read and the overall feel of the scale is much more solid and professional.
