For what it's worth, this is a great little cook system.My background: I have done a lot of backpacking, but I haven't used these types of cook systems.Pros- easy to use- can go way below simmer- large enough to make coffee for a small group or a meal for 2 people- everything packs up inside the potCons- do not press the lid down in use, just rest it. It's such a tight fit that you'll burn yourself with steam taking it off if you press it down- don't tighten the base to the stove when you attach it. It's hard to detach. What's worse is that it's full of boiling water while you're trying with your hands in a dangerous position. So, set it down just enough to attach, and take it apart by grabbing the plastic stove base and the insulated sleeve with two hands.- the ignitor is a bit stiff and doesn't always light on the first try

I wanted a jet boil for camping but didn’t want to pay jet boil prices since I don’t camp enough to warrant spending that much money. This is so easy to use, set up and it’s cute! I was honestly surprised with how fast it boiled water. It’s light weight and compact so it would also be perfect for backpacking. It’s so much more convenient than having to use a portable stove and pan for water. It holds the perfect amount of water in one pot to mix back packing food and coffee. Since it boils so quickly it’s not a big deal if you need to boil more water.

Love the stove. Build quality is great. Fit and finish are what you would expect. I boiled about 18 oz of water in about 2.5 minutes and I was fiddling with the control, so no complaints there. The only thing that could be improved is the adjustment valve. While you do get similar adjustment control over the burner like the Jetboil Mini Mo minus the smoothness and long travel, the valve opens more than the stove can handle. Turn it up a little too much and you will have flames lipping out the sides of the pot potentially melting the insulation, handle coating, and possibly the lid. If you turn it up further, it will practically put itself up and the burn cannot keep up with the supply. Other than that, this stove works excellent and for the money you can't beat it.

This is a great camping water boiling set that is quite sizable and works just as good as the more expensive big name brands. The kit is a nestling set so it packs up within the boiling chamber to make bringing it along on your trips easy and convenient. The design on it is very nice and printed cleanly. It does NOT come with a fuel canister so you will need to purchase your own. It seems to be compatible with any small tank. Definitely recommend!
