Hi purchased 6 of these filters. After installing the first filter I found out no water was coming out of the water dispenser, not the correct fit as OEM. Installed a second filter and had the same issue. Now it does not matter what brand filter I install, I get no water. The valve that lets the water thru into the filter is worn out. I wish I had not purchased these inexpensive MWF refrigerator water filters as they are not an exact fit as the OEM.

Original review: The filter has changed over time. I have used this brand and style for over 5 years, a total of 8 filters so far. The center hole has gotten smaller. All the older ones fit easily whereas when the new one is installed, you have to apply some force. Don’t worry it will still fit. Once installed it the dispenser made a rapid pulsating sound and the water only trickled out. I thought it was the filter. After troubleshooting, I discovered my fridge needed repair. Don’t blame the filter, fridges nowadays are cheaply built. After replacing a $59 part, the fridge and filter worked as it should.
