    The slot car race track was selected for my 10 and 4 year old children. The track wasn’t very easy to put together and the instructions weren’t easy to follow. If you made a mistake, it also wasn’t easy to take the track apart. However, once the track was assembled, the play set performed very well. Both children were able to race cars and haven’t gotten much enjoyment out of the set. The cars can go pretty fast without falling off the track and they easily made the loops! The boys were able to work together on creating some alternate track configurations as well. The track is delicate. When my 10 year old went to take it apart, he broke an edge off of one of the track pieces. This was the direct result of how difficult it is to remove track from the connector. Overall, the magnetic race track was very cool and has already offered hours of fun.

     This is such a cool race car set. The cars are magnetic and stick to the track. They are rechargeable, so no batteries need except for the controllers. Unfortunately the car charge doesn't last long and one even stopped working even after having it charged all day. It was a bit of a challenge assembling this track because the instructions were just images no directions.

    I got this for my son because he loves all things car related. It reminded me a lot of the toy car tracks my brother and I had when we were little. Unfortunately, as neat of a toy is it appears to be, I simply couldn’t get it put together. They’re a bunch of different parts of the track, many of which are very similar and and therefore difficult to tell apart. I sorted through them as best I could, and then used the connector pieces to connect them. Some of the connector pieces were also difficult to tell apart. I managed to get a few segments of the track connected properly, I think, but, as soon as I went to connect another piece, the pieces that were already connected came apart. It also included more pieces than the directions said we should have, most notably, two cars as opposed to one and two of the gadget that are supposed to help propel the cars. After fiddling with it multiple times, I just gave up trying to figure it out. I really wish I had been able to put it together, because I think my son would’ve loved it, so for that I’ll give it two stars. I ultimately concluded it just wasn’t worth the headache.

    This is a fun little toy that brings you back to childhood. It has a compact design, which is great if you have limited space in your kids room. The track is easy enough to assemble and has a instruction page for assembling the recommended track. You can build it to your own specifications, if you want to try and engineer a different style of track, the cars are pretty fast and fun to watch them go around the track, but they tend to jump off the track, especially on the loops if it is not built perfectly. I think it’s frustrating. My kids think it’s hilarious every time the cars fly off the track. Different strokes for different folks.

    This is an impressive set that comes with thorough and easy-to-understand directions and illustrations. I was unable to set up the full track (I am extremely space-limited) but the magnetized cars (the size of Hot Wheel brand cars) did well to the extent I was able to have them perform. This is a really cool set and over and over with each part, I was impressed by the quality. The rotary remote control that controls the car's speeds is so much fun. The designer/manufacturer of this set spent time and effort to make this toy live up to high expectations.

It was a bit confusing around the loops, and it seemed like I was missing some step, but I triple checked and the two pieces of track exiting the loops are intended to just lay there somewhat haphazardly. The cars themselves defy gravity due to a pair of magnets on the bottom and the metal bar in the center of the track. Pretty cool design that keep the cars on the track more often than not, reducing frustration of the kids.

    We did have one single track connector left over as well as 2 pieces that are not identified anywhere on the parts list (but seem to fit in the holes on the triangle supports for the loop - see pics) I'd love to know where these are intended to go. Maybe that would help make the loop and exiting tracks feel more "polished"

    Cars last about 15 min or so (depends on how fast you "crank" the controller. This design is a bit weird. I would have expected a trigger. You crank the mechanism and the faster you crank it the faster they go (to a point) What's really weird about it is even after you stop cranking the car motor keeps going for a few seconds.
