The weight and efficiency is obviously not the same as a premier brand. That's not the point of this product. It's to give you a similar product at a fraction of the cost. It succeeds in that requirement. If that is what you are looking for, you will likely be happy with this. I won't take mine with me on every trip out, but do look forward to putting this to use sometime in the future.

I’m really impressed with this purchase. It was very easy to set up and the materials used are light weight and sturdy. I think the pot is aluminum, I’m not sure? One small tip with this system, when lighting, the pot has to be off of the burner or it won’t ignite. Once it’s fired up the pot could be locked into place with a light twist. It took 5 min on low flame to bring 1 liter of water to a boil. My altitude is 3k ft. above sea level. A Jet Boil might be a little lighter and maybe slightly more efficient but there is no comparison in the cost and I bought this camp stove just for that reason. I’m very happy with this stove and highly recommend it.

I saw someone using something like this on a trail recently. I stopped to ask them about it and made a mental note to check into it. When I saw this one at a lower price than the big name one that was recommended to me I figured I would give it a chance. It worked for my purpose, which was to heat up some broth and hot drinks on a cold day outside. It was easy enough to use and I can see myself using this quite often.
