    HP, I have found not always the easiest to do proper business with but overall, economics considered as well, a good HP Laptop, as long as you take good care of it, will be a good choice. I need a backlit keyboard which this has as well as fast and touchscreen. I had, during better times bought a HP Spectre. Pricey but very fine. When a friends child accidentally broke the screen? There was no finding a replacement and that was a heartbreak as well as a real financial setback. I mention all this because this laptop in most ways; speed, clarity, touchscreen and a backlit keyboard is the closest I’ve accomplished to the delightful and superb Spectre. It is still a very new purchase, based on initial use and performance? I’m very pleased. Really lots of bang for the buck and we all know the rarity of that in these times. I will emphasize that I will be relentlessly careful with this HP 17’ and, if it continues performing as it has so far? I will be very happy.

    fingerprint feature is questionable. I can't get it to work. Overall, a nice unit for its price range. No restart issues and it boots quickly. I like the backlit keyboard which was a decision maker for me in making my purchase.

    I bought this laptop for my online business. It was easy to set up, fast and is a pretty pale gold color. The touchscreen and backlit keyboard are really nice features. I would definitely recommend this laptop.

    The laptop arrived looking great! When I started setting it up, I started having doubts right away when I had to call HP tech to help me load Microsoft. He also did the necessary numerous updates needed.Then, before loading any apps, browsers, or programs, I attempted to load Norton. I ended up having to call them to help me. I then proceeded to download Edge, Chrome, POGO, Facebook, and then, several hours later I successfully loaded Knights and Brides. And that was it. The next day the computer took forever to start, and wouldn't do much of anything. I think it's a crappy processor. I returned it, but they won't refund the entire amount. This isn't my fist new laptop. I'm confident I'm capable enough to set it up correctly.

    Very happy with this computer. My only minor complaint would be that the battery could last a little longer. Love the touch screen. The best feature for me is the backlit keyboard - just really like that. I type in the dark alot - and sometimes I just need to see a key - problem solved. Would definately purchase again.
