So my search led me to these. I'm in-between sizes so the smaller one was a bit snug (with not much space to indulge in travel eating!), so I exchanged them for the larger size. They're comfy, well made, and with the elastic ankles, I can pull them up as capris so they're really 3 pants in one. For my 2-week vacation, I only needed these and my jeans! With room to spare in my suitcase for my souvenirs.

These pants were a huge disappointment. They felt like maternity pants. The fabric was old lady polyester. You had to pull them up to your armpits so the crotch didn’t sag. I should have returned them but I was desperate. Didn’t realize how much I hated them until I wore them.🤮

These zip-off leg pants are awesome. The lightweight and stretchy material is comfortable even at 40 degrees with high wind at the top of a mountain and cool enough for hiking in 80-degree weather in a valley. I bought the grey color and wore them for a weeklong wilderness trekking trip. They were comfortable, fast drying, and didn't make noise or rustling sounds. One of my favorite features is the waistline, with the smooth elastic and ties, it eliminated the issue of rubbing and soreness from pack hip straps over buttons or zippers. You can't beat the price or comfort of these pants!
