I usually don’t leave reviews but this skirt is amazing and it has pockets! It flows beautifully and is double lined. I bought a medium, I am 175 lbs, the measurements given are accurate.

There is also a zipper on the side, but I have not needed to use it. The buttons are decoration, but I assumed that when I bought it. The fabric is your usual polyester skirt, so it feels pretty cheap (also has that characteristic sound when you touch it) and pilled very quickly in one area (on my side), but I can shave those off. I've worn it a few times now and I am very happy with it. Although, for the price you may be able to find a better quality material skirt.

I love this skirt so much.
When I ordered it, I wasn’t expecting to wear it almost once a week, but here I am. It is amazingly comfortable, has great pockets (it fits my phone!), and I can dress it up or down easily.
I was a little worried how it would hold up in the wash, but it’s done great so far! No fading or damage that I’ve noticed.
I sometimes pair it with a crinoline, but it has great twirl and shape without it as well. It’s very feminine and very versatile. Its length is great: I can squat down to the floor in this and not worry about showing my underpants, but it also doesn’t get in my way (I’m not tripping on it).
Great skirt! Definitely synthetic material, but it looks cute and works well.

Strange material- bough the black one with black buttons

Why I bought it: I have recently gained 5-10lbs and was looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable, standard black skirt to wear while I attempt to lose the weight. All my current skirts are size 4-6 and they just feel a little too tight at the moment. As I have a low threshold for tight clothing. anyways, That is why I bought this skirt in size medium. For reference, I am almost 30 years old, 5 ft tall and right now 125lbs.

Why I like it: the medium fits perfectly. It holds on enough to feel secure but has enough elastic for a lot of space. I don’t feel like it’s choking my stomach when I’m sitting down. It has a nice flowy look to it. It has pockets. It’s flattering.

Why I don’t like it: the material is definitely not what I want a flowing skirt to be made out of. It does have a lot of strange wrinkles. And the mostly polyester fabric probably can’t be ironed easily. I think it would melt it it… but I haven’t tried. It feels like thin athletic jacket material or table cloth. By far the wrinkles are the biggest disappointment. it should probably be lower in price. Like $10 is what it feels like it’s worth.

I have a lot of medical tests and procedures coming up in the future, so I am glad to have some time before all of that to have a bit of fun and feel positive. As I lose weight I plan to alter many of my nice things and wear them often. Thank you so much for everything. I really appreciate it.

I measured according to chart thinking the elastic would be tight enough. FYI size down, it runs large and it kept sliding down on me. Thin material but still beautiful, will be great for summer. Has good sized pockets. I hope the seller will give me an exchange instead of returning because I just caught it on sale and it changed back two days later.

Update. Exchanged for XL

Update again. The button was falling off so I exchanged again for Large in navy blue. Now it's very nice and snug! Still very breathable. FYI I've been losing weight so that's probably why it feels better. For reference my waist has been 33-34in.

I love Belle Poques skirts, so when I needed a long brown skirt for a costume this was the place I went. It's a great length if you're looking for a long skirt, and the high-waisted feature is always a plus for me. The buttons are cute, and though I wasn't a fan of the ruching on the back it does make it easier to adjust. The only downside to this product was the fabric. It's a VERY light material, so it doesn't give much, if any, warmth which I would have liked in such a long skirt. I feel like because the fabric is so thin and doesn't seem that fine in quality it should be a little less money. If you know that the fabric is a thin material you may actually really like it because it is a very nice silky material, just not thick is all. I still love the skirt personally! I would have kist liked a little bit more thickness :)
