    This absolutely the best shredder I've ever owned. I basically shredded an entire filing cabinet worth of documents and the micro size it shreds to is awesome.Pros:PRICEQUIETSUPER SMALL SHREDS10+ PAGES AT A TIMECONS:It does overheat and then you have to wait roughly 30 mins before you can use it again.*Filling up a large hefty bag full involved 4 overheats, but still 100% recommend. Glad I purchased.

    I waited for several months before reviewing this shredder. It is very impressive. As noted in the description, it shreds things into very small pieces which can't be reconstructed which is great. The size is just right....not to large and easy to keep near my chair. The paper is shredded into such small pieces that it fits a lot of material into the waste bin. I had a bad experience with my previous shredder: As one would expect, ocassionally a metalic object is mixed with the shredded paper and jams the mechanism. For most shredders, this is a problem as you have to disassemble the shredder input to relieve the jam. This can't be done with most shredders. However, the top of the Aurora shredder gives access so you can remove metailic jams. Also, it is very convenient that you can insert a large wad of paper in the top feeder and let the shredder do it's thing...Very cool. I am really very impressed with this device. It was well designed and thought out. I didn't rate the customer service cause I didn't have to use them....All is good.

    It’s compact, the lid lifts off to empty, it easily does 8-10 sheets, does credit cards and can continuously run for over an hour. Love the confetti shred for privacy. Worth the money I paid.     It works like it's supposed to. The only problem I have with it is that it can only shred a stack of 8.5" x 11" paper. I tried to put in a stack of mail and it wouldn't process it. I had to feed mail through a slot.

    I just received it and product tested it today on all types of items; Credit cards, unopened stuffed mail and even a bubble padded small bag !! No problem at all. It is very quiet and quick. Did not overheat. Compact.
    But.. if you are a Senior (75) like me, be very careful when you lift the motor by the handle, I found it heavy.
    My nephew is 50 yrs old and he had no problem lifting it. Other then that, I highly recommend this Aurora AU1010MA High-Security 10-Sheet Micro-Cut Paper Shredder.

    Outstanding product! I needed a replacement for my prior shredder, which had stopped working hence my quest for replacement. Anyway, things that I didn’t know or bother to look for such as operating noise, weight, etc. are built into this excellent machine.

    First of all the built in handle is perfect for when you have to empty. Great grip and hold on the device, which is good because that thing is heavy which is also good.

    Second, the noise output is so quiet I thought it jammed when I first ran it until I saw micro bits of paper hailing down through the waste receptacle window.

    Lastly, other shredders I’ve owned and operated have choked at the last digit of their limit so on a 10 pager shredder at 10 pages it sounds like it’s about to choke and freggin die. Not this device. It crunches near silently through exactly what it advertises it will do.

    This is first class.

    I had a larger shredder previously but it broke when I tried to shred a "thicker" credit card in the credit card slot. This was a replacement and I opted for a smaller shredder due to my need for it decreasing since I am now semi-retired. I am pleased with my selection. It is working perfectly.

    Owned an Infoguard shredder since 2016 and it just quit Feb 8, 24. We’ve shredded thousands of papers with it. You could hear it two houses over.
    This new one is way quieter, smaller size and shreds into smaller pieces. I’ve shredded the same things with this one…CD’s, paper with staples, credit cards and thin cardboard with no issues whatsoever. This is definitely a winner.

    El cabezal es un poco pesado; sin embargo, cumple con su trabajo al 100%, hemos puesto varias hojas sin exceder el límite permitido durante cierto tiempo y lo ha hecho bastante bien, también se ha utilizado para triturar tarjetas de crédito y todo perfecto. El hecho de hacerlo en cuadros en vez de tiras da mayor seguridad de privacidad.
