The frames are made of fiber glass and splintered my husband while assembling it. We couldn't send it to my child's kite day at school unassembled because of that splintering. Then one of the frames easily got dislodged, dropped and lost, so my child ended up not having a kite to fly. What a disappointment and waste of money!

I was weary buying these kites due to their low price, but they are absolutely wonderful!

The gorgeous colors and beautiful butterfly details are stunning. My girls are 6 and 8 and this was their first experience with a kite. They used them at school with minimal assistance and the kites worked wonderfully.

The only problem we experienced was that the loop on one of the kites where the string attaches broke away from the seam. It was an easy fix - we found some ribbon at home and sewed it on as a loop for the string and it was as good as new!
