    I bought 2 of these for my kids and they're great little phones. I did not put service on them. For now, they just use them on WI Fi to play on apps and Kids Messenger and it works great for that. I really need to look into the parental controls for this if it even has any. I've been considering using using one of the parental control companies like bark or to be put on these phones, which I hear should be easy. Overall sound and video quality are fantastic. And the kids hook up to WI Fi wherever they go & I am able to talk to them. So product is a winner for me. Just need to remind them every once in a while to delete the apps they don't use, then not to take a whole bunch of videos. I'm undecided on the fingerprint reader as it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. The kids just use the pattern and I don't want it using face.

    My attempt to purchase a VERIZON Samsung phone has caused me a month of misery!
    I purchased a TotalbyVerizon phone that is LOCKED and is NOT by Verizon. The sim chip is said to be incompatible with the phone, I can only conclude that it is a TracFone sim chip not meant for Samsung, Verizon or TotalbyVerizon.... I have never experienced so much trauma and anxiety over a simple replacement device/ phone. This is very confusing as a consumers who think they are buying a Verizon phone/ device.

    The listing for the phone says that it is locked to tracfone. I bought this for the tracfone plan as it's affordable. BUT i got a Verizon locked phone instead, which wasn't in the budget I had for my sister's phone. Now she's currently waiting for a phone plan because of either a false listing, or an honest mistake. If you're someone who has low income, and NEEDS their phone to be through TracFone in order to afford service,,, do not trust this listing. However! if you're fine with the possibility of getting the wrong locked phone, the phone did come in great quality and is working well considering the model.

    Can't speak to the protection plan as i thankfully haven't had to use it yet, I did purchase that though and will update my review if needed.

    Fingerprint scanner works well, but I wouldn't recommend actually utilizing their face scanner. Samsung hasn't really caught up to that, and it especially doesn't work well with the low end camera's the A models have. I wouldn't recommend the A13 unless you have a tight budget. And for $50 it is a great phone. Having a name brand phone like Samsung is always nice, and not always possible at this budget. You are getting what you paid for though, so keep that in mind when thinking about performance. I enjoy their phones a lot but if you have the money to spend, I would always recommend a Galaxy S model over the Galaxy A models.
