Wasn't sure what to expect out of these picks. I've tried MANY other picks looking for a comfortable feel that makes playing smoother...so I gave these Goonis picks a shot. I was very pleasantly surprised. They have a no slip grip on both sides but with each side a different feel. Depending on how you hold the pick and play, you have 2 options...the one side gives you certain grip and feel and flip the pick over to get a different angle and grip....genius. Not sure of the material, but it seems to hold up and feel great and I haven't had any problems with the pick chipping or filing down after playing. I don't see how anybody wouldn't be able to find these worth the try. They might end up being what you have been looking for. Would recommend trying the variety pack with the different gauges and see which ones fit your playing just right. Anything from acoustic, hard rock and all between. The different gauges will have you covered. 2 thumbs up.

These picks are pretty good if you want to try a unique shape with a good grip. However, I probably won't use them very much. While I like the shape, I don't like that they are made of nylon - nylon is too flexible and the edges fray with hard playing. I prefer stiffer, harder picks (my favorite picks are made of polycarbonate). I bought 1.0mm thickness hoping they would be stiff enough, but they still flexed and the edges wore down/frayed after one practice session with my band. I was willing to try them because of their unique shape, and I would probably buy more if they were polycarbonate. That said, you might like them if you're OK with nylon.

The second photo shows the tip pointing at the correct angle, but the contour doesn't match my thumb. Fix this little flaw, and I will buy a hundred!
