This cooling pad works great! Previously, the Samsung 970 EVO M.2 SSD drive in my laptop would get hot, about 65C, which seemed to slow down the performance. Now that I'm using the Coolertek pad, the drive stays at a comfortable 50-51C and performance is not reduced. The fans are fairly quiet. The pad is light weight and durable since the top mesh is made of metal. The bottom is made of plastic, but is sturdy. The four rubber feet on the bottom are nice and thick, and seem durable. I have had it a month with no problems, and bought a second one for my wife.
This cooling pad works so well that I want to turn it off at times to save battery, and not cool my "lap" too much. It would be nice if there was a switch on the cooling pad to turn it off, instead of unplugging the USB cable repeatedly which could cause premature wear. I eventually bought a USB extension cable with an inline switch to control the power. This is not a major issue, and I give the cooling pad 5 stars.

Works great, needs longer cord, don't use it without it being on!
This cooling pad works amazingly well! It keeps my computer VERY cold. It is also a great size for my 13" laptop. One problem is that my computer got a bit hot when I left it on the cooling pad without the pad plugged in. I think the laptop fans couldn't get enough air flow.The noise level is barely louder than the laptop's fans. I've had no problem watching movies with the fans going.I gave it 4 stars because of the cord it comes with. The cord is USB to USB and very short. The problem is my computer doesn't have a regular USB port, only USB-C ports. So I had to use a cord I already had to plug it into a wall socket.
