  • Two setting methods:

1. Set up by code: (1) Press "Mute +power" buttons together for 3 sec until led light is lit,then release it.

(2) Input your 3 digit TV_CODE form code list.If the code is right,the LED light will go off. If the code is wrong, the LED light will still be on. If this happens,try to enter the code again as there may have been an error the first time.

(3)Please check the function of Remote. If it doesn't work well, please you can try one of the other codes and repeat the process from step 1.

NOTE:During setting process,if no key is pressed in 10 seconds it will exit automatically.

2.Brand search:

1)Turn on TV.Press the button of the corresponding brand for 5 sec, the LED flashes three times,then the setting is completed.

Default Mode:

  • Under the default setting,RC-G008 can directly control many brands,include LG/SAMSUNG/SONY/PHILIPS/PANASONIC/SHARP TV.
  • Restore to the initial setting,please and hold the [OK]+[0]buttons about 3sec, the LED light will be blink four times,now it is in initial setting.

I literally bought this remote as a last resort because i had to get up and down to turn my tv on and off and the volume up and down. I was able to get it delivered the same day I ordered it. It came with instructions to help with programming it, but immediately synced with my tv without having to program it. It does not come with batteries, but just needs two AAA batteries. Very lightweight. 10/10, extremely satisfied.

This work okay for what I needed. They were easy to program and worked on my TV. However, these do not work as great as the OEM remote. You have to be pointing directly at the TV and level with the remote sensor for it to work. Also, this is remote is very lightweight, so go easy on this and don’t drop it.

I had a similar universal remote that needed replacing. The setup is a little frustrating - it seems so helpful that they have all the tv brands listed so you can just click the right one and it connects automatically. However, that did not work for my tv. I have a TCL and, while the TCL button didn't work to connect, another one did. So, if you are trying to set it up with your tv and it is not connecting, try going through the other options to see if a different one works. Once set up, it has been working well.

This is exactly what I needed - I spilled water on the original TV remote and the volume control quit working. Not a problem, as long as you didn't mind volume 20 always and forever. Ordered this remote and it was exactly what I needed. I can control all the features of my TV with it, though it isn't as intuitive as the original remote because it is more generic instead of being designed for one specific device. You are able to use it to navigate all the features of your TV with it, which is what is most important anyway. And you can use it to turn the volume off of 20.
