Being a bit older, my kids and friend's kids are having babies right and left.
To be honest, it's hard for me to carry them, and what I love about this carrier is it's so simple to put on - right out of the box - zero assembly except to adjust the straps and attach the waist belt. This is so comfortable it feels great on my back, even when it's empty. Already, 3 of my friends are planning to order this baby carrier as they have the same challenges I have carrying grandkids - not easy at any age!
The best part is the waist portion/pouch has a firm area, with a slight rubber tread to keep babies from slipping - less strain on my to constantly reposition them. This firm pouch is where a baby can comfortable sit and the weight is more more on the pouch and less on my shoulders. The pouch also has a zipper compartment where you can grab anything you need without disturbing a sleeping baby. There is even a little washable towel in the front of the carrier to protect babies from having a hard strap near their adorable faces.
The person who designed this is just so smart - the belt is very wide and the length is short enough to fit my 25 inch waist and more than long enough to fit my husband's 32 inch waist. It's so easy to adjust that we can each use it with little fuss.
This product is going to become my new go to baby shower gift, as every mom and dad (and grandmom/pa) deserve to be able to carry their babies in comfort.
