I support the use of hemp instead of cotton
I am still using the first one of the 3, since last May - so eleven months now. I use it every single morning as a secondary capture for my French press, and occasionally as a drip over.Every 3-4 months I soak it in boiling water with some Arm&Hammer super washing soda until the coffee stains are completely gone.I've had none of the trouble others complain about durability, stitching, or slow drip through. For the $3 paid, I would have used more than 500 paper filters and I still have two unused ones in the drawer.Highly recommended.

I bought used coffee filters and I’m not a looney!!

Amazon was able to sell me USED coffee filters! I absolutely had to buy them just to LOL and be the first to make this statement! Side note: Please never turn evil Amazon or we’re screwed! Ok, all joking aside, I really like these coffee filters and as a CHEMEX paper filter replacement find them quite good. I’d wager the paper filters might be just a tad bit better in coffee taste and flavor, but these are reusable and the hemp doesn’t sully the taste, it’s just the paper ones were part of the system’s {my Chemex} original design. I’m perfectly happy with these filters and they definitely have a healthier carbon footprint being reusable over the single usage paper ones. Just a quick rinse after usage and a little hanging out to dry and I’ve no complaints. Easy to clean, easy to use, and 3 came in the pack. So far I’ve seen no degradation in the first filter still, so it’s got lots more coffee pot journeys in it, yet it is nice to get 3 for a very cheap price. Only Amazon could make used coffee filters alluring enough for me to buy, but I’m pleased I did.
