it's cheaply constructed , kinda of hollow on the inside , nice red light . not good for what i bought it for which is to attach my y connector so i can plug in my smartphone earphones and use the Mic . it gets real hot if you try to do it . gets hot with use as well , my old usb mic and audio adapter never got hot like this one . Heat destroys and wears down electronics over time or right away depending on the intensity of the heat .
