Like many reviewers I purchased this to replace the unbearable soft foam one that came with my spin cycle. Although they look similar this one is better in almost every way. The foam is a much higher density so even though it's just as soft it feels much more supportive and resilient. It's heavier and better put together. Nothing special but an excellent value. Only caveat is that the shock absorbers are a bit soft so I wobble a bit but I'm 210 lbs so that's an issue with most sprung saddles.

If you look up SQ Labs ergonomics for cycling, you’ll get a whole explanation about the width of your sits bones and how to measure them. That’s a factor but this seat is also comfortable. It’s not too padded, which I learned can cause the problem you’re trying to solve. And it looks great on the bike too. It’s easy to put on but even easier if you just use the peloton hardware/clamp thingy.
