My dad uses 2 different type of hearing aids, Over the ear and in the ear, both work fine in this device. The small size only allows 1 pair at a time to be used, but since it takes 30-45 min. that's not a problem. Hopefully this will make his hearing aids last longer now.

Only two weeks old, so no comment on longevity at this time, but it seems to be doing its job for my Widex aids. I perspire significantly when wearing them, so it's nice having a small box available to dry them completely before the next day. The only concern I have is that it takes a couple attempts to turn the unit on with the switch on the front. The button is already lit up, and when I press the button, I have found that you really need to focus to make sure the light changes from dim to bright repeatedly. More times than not, I'll have to press the button harder a second or third time before it engages. Other than that, it's a great little dryer.

This is very hard to review, because there is not a lot that you can measure. My audiologist recommended that I keep my hearing aids demoisturized, so I went online to review my options. She had to replace the speaker wires due to moisture damage.
The PerfectDry Lux was a bit more expensive than some other options, but I liked the fact that it dosed the hearing aids in UV light to steralize them while gently dehumidifying them.
The bright blue light would be disconcerting if you had it on your bedside table at night, but I have mine in the bathroom so I don't have that problem.
I cannot tell whether it is working, other than I tested to see if I could detect gentle heat, which I could. But if my audiologist says I needed it - then I needed it.

For years, I have stored my hearing aids overnight in a resin-type desiccant box. I did this because moisture would build up and I would get ear aches. Drying the hearing aids stopped that.

However, when I changed to hearing aids with rechargeable batteries, I needed to leaved them in the charing stand for several hours (basically overnight) and that made overnight storage in a desiccant box impractical.

This PerfectDry solved that problem for me. It dries my hearing aids in 45 minutes, which is quick enough to run while I get ready in the morning.

I have had it now for 11 months; it works perfectly and appears well made. The start button is a bit sensitive and it is easy to turn it on while handling it. But that is a minor problem and the cycle can be stopped by opening the lid.
