Yet none of those brands or companies really offered, myself or friends, gear that really matched our lifestyles. And we're not complicated people. Just some small town guys that lead simple hard working lives. We know what long hot summer days bailing hay are like. We know how to have a good time on the weekend. I really like this hat. It is built well. I think it is a little bit pricey for a made in Cambodia rope hat but overall I like this product. It has good construction and it’s not floppy on the crown due to a structural piece on the inside that keeps the embroidery secured and crown standing up. It appears to be a nylon/polyester material perhaps blended with cotton.
