This is a great little set for anyone who loves the Beatles, and particularly the solo Beatles. As we all know, most Beatle people collect the solo stuff from McCartney first (including Wings) the Lennon, then Harrison and THEN Ring. So many people, me included, have neglected his stuff. Well, this box set, priced very reasonably at 27.00, is a great jump-in point. It's got 6 songs spread over 3 45s, a cool poster of the Capitol records building with a Ringo Mannequin along with the robot from th film 'The Day The Earth Stood Still' and a hub adapter for the 45s.

The songs are mainly hits, most notably 'Goodnight Vienna'-written and produced by John Lennon himself, adding a count-in and backing vocals as well. It also has Ringo's smash 'It Don't Come Easy" with guitar help from George, who uses his Leslie Speaker. Additionally, the other A side is 'Photograph' along with the three B-sides, all great in their own right, The sound mixes are very solid, there are no hisses pops or skips in my set. Goodnight Vienna gets heavy rotation on my record player (or, turntable, as 20 year old hipsters call them)-I'm only 34 but it's called a record or LP, not "VINYL!" Sheesh....anyway...

The poster was so cool I framed and hung it in my music room along with all of my other framed album covers and album poster inserts!

I recommend this to even the casual Beatles/solo Beatles fan. This is a much better value than their 2010 Black Friday RSD 45 box set, which was priced near $70.00!

Anyone else have a copy where it sounds like the tape slows down at the fade out of Photograph? Other than that it’s great. I tracked down a copy of Back Off Boogaloo to complete my collection.
