Game Description

Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of Skyrim and Fallout 4, welcome you to Fallout 76, the online prequel where every surviving human is a real person. Work together, or not, to survive. Under the threat of nuclear annihilation, you’ll experience the largest, most dynamic world ever created in the legendary Fallout universe.

Reclamation Day, 2102. Twenty-five years after the bombs fall, you and your fellow Vault Dwellers—chosen from the nation’s best and brightest – emerge into post-nuclear America. Play solo or join together as you explore, quest, build, and triumph against the wasteland’s greatest threats.

WELCOME TO THE ATOMIC SHOP

When the Vault 76 door rolls open and your Reclamation Day journey begins, you may notice dwellers who’ve donned more personalized wardrobes over their standard-issue Vault Suits. Aside from finding outfits as you explore, or crafting them at workbenches, the Atomic Shop can help you kick off a few costumed capers of your very own. Not only can you peruse a plethora of new outfits, you’ll be able to acquire other items like weapon skins, armour skins, emotes, décor and more.

You will Emerge!

Multiplayer finally comes to the epic open world RPGs of Bethesda Game Studios. Create your character with the S.P.E.C.I.A.L system and forge your own path in a new and untamed wasteland with hundreds of locations. Whether you journey alone or with friends, a new and unique Fallout adventure awaits.

Mountain Splendorland!

All-new graphics, lighting and landscape technology brings to life six distinct West Virginia regions. From the forests of Appalachia to the noxious crimson expanses of the Cranberry Bog, each region offers its own risks and rewards. Post-nuclear America has never looked so beautiful!

A New American Dream!

Use the all-new Construction and Assembly Mobile Platform (C.A.M.P.) to build and craft anywhere in the world. Your C.A.M.P. will provide much-needed shelter, supplies, and safety. You can even set up shop to trade goods with other survivors. But beware, not everyone will be quite so neighbourly.

The Power of the Atom!

Go it alone or with fellow survivors to unlock access to the ultimate weapon – Nuclear Missiles. This destruction also creates a high-level zone with rare and valuable resources. Do you protect or unleash the power of the atom? The choice is yours.

I bought solely for the dlc code inside. It worked and now I have all the cosmetics from the bundle in game and I can display the physical copy I have.

Didn’t realize this game was online only, since I’ve played every single Fallout game that’s come out. Giving five stars because it was my fault for not knowing and I’m sure it’s a decent game.

A very fun game with cool crafting and a nice legendary system. In-game purchases aren’t too OP or in your face, and the player-base is very chill on Xbox. Honestly, this game is just a win, and an increasingly rare success from Bethesda.

BEFORE YOU BUY: YOU NEED GOLD. It might not seem that bad now, but when you’ve had gold for a year and it’s costed you over $100, is it worth it? Ehhh, if you play other multiplayer games.

My advice? Just drop $1,300 on a new gaming PC and buy the game for $40 on steam! Pro life hack! (This is a joke, do not buy it for $40 on steam)

The games seems to run without a glitch, which is a refreshing change from other Bestheda titles I've tried. I only wish I knew before I ordered this that you have to be online to play it, something I would have known before I bought it, had I read the advertisement a LOT more closely. That's on me, just be warned that you need an internet connection for this.

I bought Fallout 76 Tricentennial Edition for my son Dec 2022, and we don't use online live gaming. I left 3 star and it's probably a great game, but I haven't actually played it so read on for why in my case. When I purchased this, the main cover image shown...at the time...did not indicate Xbox Live is needed so I bought it (I always look for that before purchase). We loaded the game and went to play, but to proceed it wants our Xbox Live login which we don't have...that's when I took a second look at our game case and sure enough it's listed on there at the bottom. I then searched online and confirmed it's online Xbox Live only when played on Xbox (playing on PC might be different though). Kinda felt mislead by the cover icon used in the advertisement...betting this has happened to others too? We just wanted to play 2 player at home with just us...looks like it's be fun. Hopefully they change the cover icon in the advertisement.

Pretty good game after it was fixed. Those supermutants though 😤 Good for someone who wants a less stressful game than say elden ring.

this is by far the worst fallout game so buggy and clearly rushed . when i first got it i could not wait to delve back in to the post apocalyptic world of fallout expecting ghouls and mole rats to attack me at any moment but was instead met by nothing but emptiness and the occasional rag doll ghoul corpse thought oh well ill give it the benefit of the doubt started the one campaign mission only to get stuck as a i had pressed a button that the game wouldn't register as active. restarted a new account played and got past it only to get to the next mission for none of the mobs to spawn in a cave exept all at the end in one massive clump of rubberbanding glitch y mess then i found another set of missions only to get to the end where i had to kill a ghoul that was already dead . what a disapointment
