The click tight design is everything! I knew that when I was in the market for a car seat I needed something to secure the seat better that the seat belt. When my baby was in the infant carrier (different brand) we used the seat hooks and if it wasn't for that the seat would not have ben secure in my care because the lap belt would never stay tight, I would put it tight every time I put my baby in the car! This seat I don't do that! It is tight every time I put my baby in the car! I love the comfort it has, my baby seams to like it. we travel a lot and doesn't seem to mind being in the seat for extended periods of time. I loved the padding around the bottom buckle that it came with when he was smaller in the seat, I love the rubber backing that the chest straps have, it really makes sure that the chest piece stays in place. The quality of the seat seems to be top notch. I feel that his is safe in the seat. On the back/sides there is a bar the runs vertical to the seat and I think that would be a significant safety feature if we where to ever be in a side impact car accident. I like that the head area has larger blinder? protectors ( I don't know what else to call the area). Again more protection if we were to ever be in an accident to hopefully shield his head from glass or other foreign objects.

This carseat has some weight to it, almost 30 lbs, so it's not for traveling or moving from car to car. But it is really easy to install and secure. Once the seat is put down and tightened it doesn't move side to side at all. It is easy to get the baby in and out. The straps don't twist and fit nice and snug on the baby. I was waiting until our child outgrew the infant carseat to switch, but I should have done it sooner. It is much easier and more secure than our infant seat.

The red plastic handle that is suppose to activate the different recline came off. And the Click button that is supposed to turn to open up the seat so you can install the seat belt is horrible. The button does not turn without pliers. Frustrated Britax could not put more quality into this seat. Very disappointed.

We got one for my first kid, and have loved its comfort and ease to tighten straps. Now that my second is to big for the infant seat, we decided to get this one again. We like the cool back, even though it’s more expensive. It is heavy and hard to move outside of car. Airports aren’t super fun, but overall this seat is great.

We bought this car seat about 5 years ago when our oldest was 1 and outgrowing the pumpkin car seat. Since then we’ve added two more kids, and used this seat nonstop. It’s so versatile! It’s been great facing backwards doe the baby stage, and then forwards as they grow. It is so heavy duty and feels really safe. It’s easy to install as far as car seats go. My only complaint is the lack of a cup holder for the forward facing older kids. However, I found a third party attachable one that works pretty well. We love this car seat and would recommend to anyone!
