    The amplifier was installed with 2 10inch ds18 midrange speakers and 2 ds18 tweeters.the amplifier sounded great very loud but the only problem within 10 minutes you can fry an egg on it..it clips and turns off. Yesterday it clipped and burt out on me it doesn't work anymore didn't have it for more than a day..

    Immediately I noticed that this amplifier did not have the connector advisory attached to the power terminals like my other BOSS amp had - and the screws were exceptionally tight - but I was able to free them, and it didn't look like it had been used... So while I can't explain that - the amp moves my 10" MTX Thunder Pro subs at low volume unlike any other amp I've ever had. This is a great amplifier! I get great sound. So far I have had zero issues with it. Works as expected and good instructions. Does not get hot. I have no real air flow in my trunk, which is pretty much just metal, so it can get hot with the sun on it after a while. I like the controls on the amp. As I have an equalizer built into the radio, while I wish I could use the remote gain control with the amp in pass-thru mode, I was able to adjust the low pass filter high enough that it doesn't matter. I run my subs in stereo mode, as I like to hear the full range of music (you can notice it in some songs from RUSH or if you listen to nature sounds like thunderstorms). This amp is almost three times more powerful than my subs could handle at full volume, so I'm not using it to it's full potential by any means. I'd highly recommend this amp per its clean sound and power - I certainly am not hearing any sub-woofer flutter, or muffled sounds coming out of my subs - at very low or very high volume. I'm very impressed with it's low volume capabilities - very clean quite sound.
