The case itself is nice. The bottom is a slick silicone that is nice to the touch with four grippy feet and plenty of vent slots. The top has a beautiful picture with deep coloring and an anti-fingerprint texture. I did not realize that there would be a cut out for the Apple logo, which is fine but I would have preferred without it. However, you can see in the photo that the printing is off-center and too far to the right, so the logo ends up off-center and it looks weird and wrong. It also arrived without the keyboard cover. They are sending a replacement, so I will update this post when that arrives.UPDATE: the seller swiftly responded saying they would send a replacement case and keyboard cover. They have arrived and the keyboard cover is beautiful and feels pleasant to the touch. It is opaque so a lighted keyboard will not show through, just so you know. The case actually has the cut out, but because it is centered it's fine. It looks gorgeous and unique and I have had many compliments on this case.

The cover seems sturdy, clicked on easily and doesn't appear to be at any risk of inadvertently coming off. It's only been on a week but there's no scratches despite a lot of movement and it appears to protect my laptop just as well as my previous one that held up for 9 years. There area nice rubber feet to keep the laptop from sliding and the vent holes appear to properly function.

The keyboard protector is really cute and fits the board nicely. The print on the keys doesn't match up exactly withe the print on the cover but has no negative effect at all considering the print on the cover is nice and bright.

Functionality is top notch.
