The blade seems to work pretty good and it doesn't leak. It handled ice without a problem. The package also includes a base and a gasket. The gasket is not rubber like the original or as stated, but more like silicon. I have had problems with the silicon ones wrinkling up when tightened, but during my short time using it, I haven't seen this happen. Unlike the original base, the replacement base does not fit onto the blender housing very securely and allows the jar to rock. However, it does seal tightly against the blender jar and didn't leak. It will probably work fine as long as you hold the jar while blending.

I mistakenly added a mango seed to my Starline brand Blender while making juice and that was it for my blender.. lol

I was a bit hesitant tonpurchase this because the description stated that these parts are compatible with Oster Blender, but I had to try because I paid alot for my blender to throw it away.. ..

Pay that no mind, as long as your blender bottom is structured the same way..go ahead and buy it...
