It's a nice bike.
I do like this bike but be advised it does require some tuning as the description says. I had a difficult time getting the front derailleur to shift the three gears straight as there are five adjustment points. Didn't bother me much cuz I'm a tinkerer but for someone not so mechanically inclined this could be quite the headache. I took a star away because I had to buy a new riser head and peddles. The handle bars are way too low and stretched out to the front to point of I'm leaning way forward to reach them. The peddles are just junk. I don't trust my life with them just cruising down the road less yet on a trail.

I bought this bike for my girlfriend and she Loves It. It shifts easily with the thumb shifters, and the shifters have indicators that let her know what gear she's in. The mechanical disc brakes are a little noisy but work fine, and seem to be better than cantilever or caliper brakes on wet conditions.

The bike arrived mostly assembled and in good shape, and assembly was pretty easy and straightforward. The gears shifted alright out-of-the-box but needed to be tuned first, and the brakes were already adjusted and ready to go. We needed to adjust the spring shock since she is small, and the ride was a little bit rough for her light weight before the adjustment was made. The fork shocks don't seem to be adjustable, but they work fine as-is.

Trail riding is fun on this bike, the shocks really soak up the bumps on rough terrain, and the rear shock keeps the back tire on the ground when going up a hill with loose gravel on it. Plenty of gears keep a rider up with the rest of the pack, as well as offer plenty of power when going over hills and rough terrain. The lightweight aluminum frame makes it easy to take it on and off the bike rack, and is light enough for my girlfriend to control and sling it around on complex rides. It's just an overall fun bike to ride.

Edit: the extra j-shaped part is a sacrificial part that is meant to be destroyed in case of an accident to protect the rest of the bike, which is why they provided an extra one.

Original review:
The instructions that come with the bike are total garbage. It pretty much just tells you to take the bike to a shop, go slow, ask questions, use grease (I didn't), and use muscle (what?). There are no step by step instructions and no tools provided. I'm pretty handy and did eventually get it working well. Getting the handlebars, seat, front disk brakes, and front wheel "on" is pretty self explanatory, however pretty much nothing was lined up correctly (even stuff installed at the factory). If you don't have that front brake lined up perfectly, it sounds aweful when riding and it's pretty finicky about placement. I also had to adjust the back brake position. The derailleurs needed to be tuned (thanks internet) so that it would shift properly and quietly, but it's pretty quiet now. In the end, I still have an extra piece. It's a J-shaped piece of metal with some holes in it. There's already an identical piece like this installed on the back of the bike and it does not fit on the front. The bike seems to work fine without it, so maybe it's a random spare? It seems like a sturdy part that wouldn't likely ever break, so I'm not sure why a spare would be needed when they don't provide spares of anything else. Makes me worried something important is missing and the bike is going to fall apart on me, but it seems to work ok. (Edit: after some research, this part is called a derailleur hanger which is designed to be damaged in an accident to save other parts, hence the spare). Again, actual assembly instructions would be very helpful. A signature was required so USPS double-rang my doorbell and woke my toddler from his nap, which is annoying since this is a pretty cheap bike and I've had much more expensive things delivered with no signature required. I think my least favorite thing about the bike is that I don't see how you could ever attach a kick stand to it with the way the back is designed. So I'll have to lay it down or lean it against something.

Overall, this seems like a good bike for the money. Putting it together was a pain, and honestly if I could rewind time, I would just spend a little more and go to a bike shop or even a sporting goods store to get a bike that's already put together and tuned properly. My 2 year-old kid was going nuts while I was putting it together and couldn't wait to go for a ride with dad, and kept trying to "help," which was cute, but...not actually helpful. I'd rather just have pulled a new bike out of my trunk, thrown his seat and handle bar attachments on and taken him for a ride. If you're on a budget, though, and don't mind tinkering and watching a YouTube video to compensate for the lack of provided instructions, and don't want a kick stand, this is a decent purchase.

I really like the bicycle and although I know that it is not one of those that are expensive that are used professionally, to give a ride or do some crazy cross-country meets the objective very well.
I have had problems adjusting the gears of the central part where the pedals are located, because the screws that regulate the limits of the chain are placed in a position where it is very difficult to perform this task. Possibly with some special tool you can do this easily, but with conventional tools it is quite complicated.
I also can't find a bike mount in my vehicle. The frame of the bike is different from the others that maintain a conventional structure, this is because my bike has double suspension on both tires making it impossible to place it on the holders you find in the market for a sedan. I know, this would be different if I had an SUV or a truck, because in that case it is very easy to find other vehicle holder options for carrying the bike.
For the rest and until now, I am very happy with my bike.
