I was happy to receive my purchase yesterday, Friday 3/8. The service was very good. Today I opened the package. The opening on the video side where you insert the video had a loose flap which eventually fell out. Also the Remote commander and the size AA(R6) batteries are missing.

1. I place the DVD disc in and close the door, but it still displays "insert disc". I have tried several time to open and close the door of DVD, but it still displays "insert disc". When I press "play" it shows the "stop" symbol and no play operation. Please help.

There were instructions on how to connect two different ways depending on the age of your tv. They offer tech support if needed. I wanted to get a new player so I can show my kids and grandkids old Christmas videos when they come for the holidays. I’m looking forward to seeing their enjoyment.
