    This DVD player is not a name brand product that claims to offer a profound viewing experience. Still, this 9x8 inch player was able to resurrect some old favorites. It was a quick install, but setting up the player for my television took a little effort. The menu seems like a throwback to a 1980s interface.Once I was able to find a setting that would allow me to use the most of my 55” television screen, the picture was a little grainy. Keep in mind, though, I was using DVDs from 2003, so it didn’t provide me with an HD clear picture like I regularly see when streaming movies in 2023. Unfortunately, I don’t have any DVDs from the past decade to use for a better test.

    This is by far the best dvd player I ever owned. It plays everything under the sun and loads the DVD very quickly. It is only 9" wide, half the size of the old clunkers I got rid of.

    If you turn it off before finishing a movie it remembers the location when u turn it back on.

    The remote is high quality, not one of those cheap card-types with bubble buttons. It would be nice if it were more powerful. I can't bounce it off the TV, must point the remote at the player.

    Be sure not to lose the remote. Keep it in a VERY safe place away from the dog. You can only load and play DVDs from the front keys -- there is no ability to set anything via screen menus.
