I like that this item is compact. I love the color. Tested seems like it would work well if in the event I need to spray. One feature I don't like is that you have to put your finger under the protective tab in order to spray. I would prefer that the safety part would slide to the side like a mace I used to carry

Getting 3 of these for the price point was a good deal. Not crazy about the colors but that was the only one I could find in a 3 pack at the lowest price point. This brand is excellent and perhaps the best pepper gel and spray on the market. Would recommend the gel over the spray and watching the safety videos to know how to use properly. It is well designed and easy to use quickly in case of an emergency. Will not easily discharge if carrying in a purse etc. However for this to be most effective, it’s best to carry with you in your hand when traveling through an unsafe, questionable, or sketchy environment. Also, should check your area or state to make sure your state allows these because some states have laws prohibiting you from purchasing on Amazon.

This product is a MUST if you live in a windy area or plan on carrying for outdoor activities!
Although I always recommend gel,
It is extremely important to know whether the canister you are carrying is pepper spray or pepper gel and this here is PEPPER GEL!
Pepper gel takes away the risk of particles flying back at you in windy/outdoor situations, the last thing you want is to be in a life threatening situation and you’ve now peppered yourself! Pepper gel usual tends to spray farther and more accurate than traditional spray to decrease the risk of cross contamination.(contaminant effecting bystanders in the process of reaching your target)
So all around this is a safe product and you definitely feel that way when Carrying it.
These are almost HALF the price of my local outdoor store, so I figured I’d buy two!
Light weight and connect right to a keychain without taking up too much space. I will definitely be buying more for my loved ones.

The plastic case of Pom pepper spray developed a big crack in after about 2 months. Unacceptable. Too bad since it was small and pocket friendly. This is it's replacement. The Sabre has a much more sturdy case. It is bigger than Pom but that's okay. The Sabre should work fine though I haven't tested it yet.

We have not had to use them--hopefully we never do but I feel better knowing we have them. I was interested in these in particular because they are a gel and not a spray. I worry about macing myself in the process of using traditional sprays. It also said it was UV reactive so it will show up under black light if someone needs to be easily identified. Hopefully it performs well. The grip is nice and it fits comfortably in our hands. The cute colors are a plus. Sabre is a US made, quality gel-based Pepper Spray, unlike many of the Chinese ones available in the market. When it comes to security, get one which will not fail in an emergency. It can be carried everyday because of its small size and compactness. I purchased two for the ladies in the family to carry on their keychain/purse. The safety cap prevents accidental discharge while in the purse or pocket. The Company claims nearly 25 sprays (Gel) with a range of upto 12 feet. Since it is gel-based, it outputs a steady jet while most other canisters throw fumes-like spray. The gel keeps you safe from reverse spray due to wind or when in closed spaces. I feel every lady should carry atleast a small keychain torch and a pepper spray, for self-defence while travelling alone. Of course, keeping it handy and ready to use in doubtful situations is more important than just carrying it around.

The seller TheGlobalGenie delivered a freshly manufactured product much before the delivery deadline, so happy with the Seller. By the way, Sabre has a product expiry of 4 years, so getting it fresh helps.
