These bay leaves are huge! I can't even fit them in my glass spice containers. They have a wonderful aroma to them and they add a lot of flavor to food. These are great.

This is a large container of bay leaf's, they are very fragrant upon first opening, even though the foil was not completely adhered all the way around and there was a section that was loose. It's also a bit difficult to screw the top back on once you have removed it, maybe the threads are misaligned? The plastic container is very thin/lightweight and cheap. I generally prefer my spices to be stored in glass, and will probably have to transfer these into something else so they stay fresh. There is a shaker on the top, which is not necessary for whole bay leafs.
The bay leafs themselves are mostly whole and intact - there were a couple which were very spotty that I threw away, and a couple that were broken and possibly nibbled, which I also threw away. But that still left a fairly large amount of leaves for the very reasonable price of under six dollars.
The bottle was purchased in January 2024, it has a batch number of August 2023 and a best before date of August 2025. Product of Turkey.

I go through a LOT of bay leaves. Every time we have chicken or turkey, I save the bones and eventually make stock. To do that, I put all the bones in a pot, with all the veggie scraps I've also saved, cover with water, and add a couple of bay leaves. I only use 2-3 at a time (depending on how much stock I'm making) but because I make it so often, I go through a lot of them.

I've tried numerous brands but none of them were as good as these - and I had no idea until I tried them. I assumed all bay leaves were pretty much the same. That's just not so. Everything from color to taste and even texture, is different (in a good way). I much prefer this brand and will definitely be ordering again!

Large sized container filled to the brim with large sized bay leaves! Comes in your traditional shaker container which is a little odd since you aren’t shaking these lol. You gotta take off the top to get the leaves out since they are quite big but I guess they just have these containers in bulk for their non-leaf products so they just used it. Which is fine. Not a big deal. These are great and made in Turkey. Can’t go wrong with this price also. You’re getting a lot of leaves.

When I was a kid, I had a bay leaf tree in my yard. Even had a tree house in it, no lie. So bay leaves were common and we always had more than a person could use in their lifetime. Sadly, we moved, and now we have to buy bay leaves like everyone else.

I really like that this jar is basically stuffed full of bay leaves. Plenty for the future, and I doubt I will run out for some time. They smell so fresh you can even smell them through the aluminum seal. I wanted to open them immediately, but I got these for future use and I don't want them going bad so i am not going to do that just yet.
