    The lens hood blocks stray light from entering the lens and protects it from impact. Use the lens case for storage and transport to keep the lens protected from dust, dirt, and scratches. The case is well padded with a zippered closure and convenient carrying strap.

I bought this lens to take pictures of the eclipse, and boy did it deliver. I also highly recommend it for macro and wildlife photography. You can see a few images I took just goofing off. If you can get a lot of light on your subject, the results are spectacular.

    I have yet to get a crisp, clear photo from this lens. It is a huge disappointment. I've had 2 previous Sigma 150-600mm lenses over many years and each one has been great. This one is not. If I was within the return window it would be going back. I thought the price was too good to be true, and it was.
