More convenient then you think, Compact and just works.
My Review is based off a month of use very frequently, I try not to review anything unless its been a min of one month and/or 5 uses depending on how its used, lets face it most things look good right out of the box you want to know how its holding up after the return window closed.Box/Bag opening and initial thoughts-comes in a simple white box with graphics, not flashy but I could see this on a retail shelf, card reader is in a plastic insert with instruction manual, efficiently packaged. Most of the instructions which just seem to keep folding out, pretty sure they went down stairs like a slinky-really dating myself now, are supported products and practical's, the other half is the app needed for IOS. Card reader is very lite-weight, I mean you would not notice the weight at all in a pocket or bag. Seems to be well made, cable connections seem tight, front panel is decent and aligned well.Install/Use -Using this for Android sorry IOS guys can’t comment on App-just join us, they already took away your lightning connector-the big G gonna rule it all one day anyways-ha ha. Using this in the field to check trail cameras, its lite weight and compactness really come in handy, pretty much keep it in my pack all the time. For reference its about 5” long total and that is a quarter on top of the main body in the pic. Its worked well for both micro and regular SD cards which I have a mix of. Checking the cards quickly on my phone has been a real value to me, copying pics, deleting and zooming in on pics has been easy and fast. I did use it to copy some video from my phone to a card as well to give to someone, worked well and no complaints. Just pay attention to how the card is inserted as you can get the first third of it in in either direction.Final thoughts-I am sure you noticed I got this from Vine, because I write these awesome long reviews and take pics, as I too read reviews and use them to help me make decisions-hopefully you found my review helpful-now would I pay my hard earned side hustle, social monetization or 9 to 5er money for it-I would, I used this even more then I thought I would, its super convenient. I consider value and what your spending in all my reviews and I have to give it 4 stars for meets my expectations for price paid. At the time I picked this one there were about 10 of these of varying price that all looked exactly the same, this was the cheapest. Its worked well and I have no complaints, if you need a simple SD card reader, it’s a good one.I will update if I encounter any problems, keep on keeping on.
