Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Using this in conjunction with 2 18650 lithium ion batteries in parallel to power a raspberrypi 3b+. It provides plenty of power so the pi is not starved of current.
So far three of them have burned up, two without any load being applied. I used this to replace the usb out driver of a 3.7v battery bank. They seem to work fine for a little while with an output of 5.2v but then they burn up, two of them without a load. After the first one almost burned the the entire battery pack up I placed a 5A fuse inline with the battery. The next two that burned blew the fuse and shows signs on the board that the driver chip gave up the ghost. The burned boards read zero ohms on the input after they burn.
Doesn't work with any lithium polymer, 18650, 14500, lithium ion protected or unprotected, not even a bench power supply. Just doesn't work period. This seems to be a regular thing with JacobsParts. You set them up in every way possible that should work and the parts simply don't work, or you get an instant smoke show. 5 out of 5 bad, and BOTH of his fast charge versions are the same.... Just not safe.
